You can never have too many craft books. I squealed with girly delight when my friends at Portland's Super Crafty gave me a copy of their supercute new book, Super Crafty: Over 75 Amazing How-To Projects (Sasquatch Books). And on the other coast...Boston's Bazaar Bizarre (the first alterna-craft show I ever knew about) has a new book out: Bazaar Bizarre - Not Your Granny's Crafts! by Greg Der Ananian. Gotta get me that one...

I was poking around online today and happily happened across Yosh Yosh. They offer canvas totes hand-embroidered with 'musical cats'. It's some seriously hardcore cute stuff.
Class is in session! Phew. I've been on a whirlwind tour of sorts. First it was the Renegade Craft Fair Chicago, and then off to NYC to teach an embroidery class at Make Workshop. It's been a blast. Thanks to everyone who came out in the rain in Wicker Park (I stayed out there as long as I could!) and double heaps of thanks to everyone who packed the classroom at Make to listen to me wax about my love for embroidering.
