I embroidered a skateboard. Why? To help raise funds for the proposed Knoxville Skatepark in Knoxville, TN. I was supposed to paint it but- embroidering is kinda my thing. So I figured it out. I asked artist Tim Brown to paint some of his amazing clouds on it. Participating artists include Gary Baseman, Dalek and my new favorite illustrators, The Girls. Be sure to attend the Paint-a-Blank Skateboard Auction, Friday March 3rd, 6:30pm @ Yee-Haw Industries 24 Hour Gallery in Knoxville, TN. The boards will be auctioned off on Saturday the 18th at 7pm across the street at Sapphire Cocktail Bar. Want to see more on the embroidered skateboard?
