I don't know how my friend Alex Beauchamp does it. She's a writer extraordinaire, champion of the self-employed woman (she profiled me on her site AnotherGirlatPlay.com back in 2002), and heads up her own production company. Just take a look at GirlatPlay.com and you'll see what I mean. I got to hang out with her last month at the SXSW Interactive Awards, because she was nominated (of course) for her latest site A Girl's Guide to City Life. Chee, I need a girl's guide to doing so many great things at once! Alex, will you guide us?

How sweet is this? I was checking on the Sublime Stitching Forums on Craftster and was met with this vision of pinknesss! Can you blame the pup for trying to get a taste of that cupcake? Just click the pic above for more! Oh and, that cupcake pattern comes with the Transfer Paper. Just so you know.

Get a load of this tall drink of red-headed water. He has style, he has class....he has my pattern embroidered on his shirt! I met him and his wife (who did the lovely stitching) at my dear friends Chia and Javi's wedding here in Austin. I'm glad to know Sublime Stitching designs are considered good enough for wedding attire. Love and happiness to Chia and Javi!

Who's that extra cute gal on the far left? It's me! Can't ya tell? I was asked by Tina Sparkles to don her designs and be part of the opening movie sequence for the Plug Independent Music Awards that took place in NYC in early February. Watch the very cool movie sequence that opened the ceremonies here! And keep your eye on the gal in the red-and-white striped top. She was having some fun.
