About My Project:
Ron Swanson on a pillow case. A Christmas gift for a friend who's just as obsessed with Parks and Recreation as I am. On the back, there are pieces of bacon from the Meaty Treats transfer pack. I used the Sulky iron-on transfer pens and the heavy tracing paper to make my design.

It took me forever to be able to get back here. I made this pattern myself using an illustration as reference.
I mix n’ matched DMC threads of four different colors for his hair, and stuck with black for all the outlining. I used a 4 strand split for the heavier lines, because I can work it better around curves, and then anywhere from 1 to 2 strands for the thinner lines on his face. I freehanded in pencil the sections of his hair that I wanted to color differently, using the same illustration as reference. I’m so glad you guys all like it!
