Lion - 1st of 12 animal panels for a quilt

I found Mr Lion online...it's a free downloadable coloring page. He has several animal friends from other countries of the world, so I have decided to embroider them all. Maybe stitch them together with some coordinating fabrics and make a quilt. (a person can only accomodate so many throw pillows). This panel took me a few weeks, a few relaxing hours at a time. I imagine my skills will improve panel by panel (how can they not with all this practice!).
